Old skool post for nostalgia’s sake: 9+ miles fast out in Valley Forge. Forgot my trainers so I wore my old T-4s. I felt like a fat ballerina out there–poopy slapping indeed. Still, it was some of the fastest running I’ve done in three months or so. Yay!

What I’m listening to on endless repeat (long live David Lowery):
Must See/Rent/Maybe Buy
This

Along the lines of video footage of the post-modern, Homeland Security-esque, dystopian apocalypse, see my best friend Jut take off in a Kandahar-based Shithook here (God: I flew a few missions in those sand-collecting pieces of shit back in the day…every moment under the red lights underneath the static blinking of a Fort Bragg night was one day closer to getting the hell out of the Army.)
…and Hitchens takes them on in fine form. I think all his recent book-pimping appearances across the televised world have worked: I’m gong to read his new book. And I’m not even an atheist.
Encore of my favorite atheist–taking Charlie Rose to task this time.
